House Bill 869 has PASSED through the 83rd Texas Legislative Session, was signed by Governor Rick Perry on June 14, 2013 and will become law on September 1, 2013. Thanks to Representative Trent Ashby, Senator Ken Paxton and their staffs for their hard work on my suggestion to amend the Marriage by Proxy Law in the State of Texas!
